Height for Hire’s Operations Director Frances McArdle was interviewed by Tessa Fleming on The Wider View Show on Northern Sound, Cavan’s regional radio station for National Women’s Enterprise Day earlier this year.

Frances was delighted to speak at the Cavan Business Women’s Club alongside Vice President of the European Parliament Mairead Mc Guinness MEP and Marcella Rudden Head of Enterprise at the Local Enterprise Office Cavan to celebrate National Women’s Enterprise Day. RTE’s Brenda Donoghue acted as MC.

The theme of this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day was Open Doors to New Markets.

The event was held in the Hotel Kilmore, on Thursday 12th October, and was one of 15 events held around the country to encourage more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs.

Over 70 business women in the Cavan region came to the event where Frances spoke about the joys and the challenges of running a family business, and the need to diversify and grow as the needs of the market changes, always looking at ways of getting closer to your customer.
